Kiriguini Widows group in Kiambu were empowered by Heather Ibrahim Leathers the president of Global Fund for widows through our founder Ms. Dianah Kamande Hsc. The group was empowered with chicken every widow two chicks. 

Our partner the managing director Certified Homes Limited, Mr Peter Nyaga boosted them with 50 chicks and 3 sacks of chick mash. On top of that the Deputy Governor of Kiambu County also boosted the widow poultry project.

Besides the project the widows have individual businesses such as groceries, salon and agribusiness. This has enabled them to pay school fees for their children, buy food, pay rent and take care of other needs.
