FEEDING PROGRAMME

Covid-19 Pandemic Response : When the pandemic was declared to have reached Kenya, the Government of Kenya undertook stringent measures that involved curfews and travel restrictions. As at 16th December 2020, most of the reported covid-19 associated deaths were of men. Covid-19 became a widow-making machine.

They could not afford to purchase protective masks. Consequently, we were inclined to rely on our partners for the survival of our widows. The partnerships were meant to promote SDG 2 (on Zero Hunger).
