In partnership with the global fund for widows, we visited the Kibera Welfare Widows Group and Unique Widows Group in the Kibera slums on 15^th July 2020. The event attracted 40 widows and was held near the deputy commissioner’s office. The groups have been beneficiaries of the Brook Bank project, where they have been using the funds for peanut butter business, selling peas and popcorn business.

On the same day, we also distributed food packages to Kirigoini widows 2019 group in Dumberi, Kiambu County, courtesy of the global fund for widows and the Kiambu county government.
