Financial Literacy Training
This program has equipped numerous widows with essential financial skills, helping them improve their economic stability through budgeting, saving, investment strategies, and debt management. It has given them the confidence and tools to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, turning their dreams into sustainable businesses that not only support their households but also create opportunities within their communities. The collaboration with financial institutions has further enriched the training, ensuring it is both high-quality and relevant to their needs. Through this support, these widows are transforming their futures, lifting themselves and those around them out of hardship.
Food Donation
Providing monthly food assistance to 500 widows across the country is a profound act of compassion that brings hope to widows facing deeply touching challenges such as grief, financial instability, and social isolation. Many widows struggle to meet their basic needs, often left without the support of a spouse to share the burdens of life. This program not only alleviates the immediate stress of hunger but also restores dignity and a sense of care, reminding these women that they are not forgotten. For each widow, receiving food is more than sustenance it is a lifeline that shows someone cares, offering comfort in their time of need and helping them rebuild their lives despite their loss.
We have built a strong and robust network of support for widows in conflict affected areas, providing them with the resources and assistance they need to heal and rebuild their lives. This network connects Widows with legal aid, financial training, mental health support, and access to safe spaces where they can share their experiences and find solidarity. In a region often marked by instability and loss, this network serves as a lifeline, offering not only practical help but also emotional resilience. By ensuring that widows are supported in every aspect of their journey, we empower them to overcome adversity and create new paths toward stability and hope for themselves and their families.

Humanitarian Action
In April 2023, we stepped in to support 50 widows in Mathare Slums and other flood-affected areas of Nairobi. We provided them with essential food supplies, helped some of them to relocate to safer places where they will no longer be vulnerable to flooding and provided learning materials for their children, whose school items were swept away by the floods. During COVID -19 pandemic, we donated assistance to 1,780 widows, including food supplies and hygiene products, emphasizing our commitment to their well-being. In 2022, we successfully drilled a borehole in Ng’ari Village, Samburu County in partnership with Manna Missions Kenya. The borehole now provides a vital water source for both widows and the entire community. Through our Goat Giving program, we have supported 200 elderly widows by providing livestock to promote economic resilience among them through the selling of milk products.
