What is 16 days of Activism

25th November – 10th December are the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence on Women and Children Campaign.
(16 Days Campaign) is a United Nations campaign which takes place annually from 25 November (International Day of No Violence against Women and Children) to 10 December (International Human Rights Day).
It was initiated in 1991 by the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute, held by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) at Rutgers University. (Source UN WOMEN website)
